The furnace in my fifth wheel is not blowing evenly. In the living room it blasts out of the vents and up front in the bedroom it barely blows at all.
Is this supposed to be like this or do I have a duct problem? Is it because heat rises and if it wasn't like this the elevated bedroom would be too hot?
It heats up fine in the bedroom like it is but I am wondering if a mouse chewed through the duct or something and I wonder if I am wasting propane heating the space under the floor.

The farther the duct is away from the furnace the less air output you will have. I have the most output in the bathroom because my furnace is closer to it than I have in the bedroom.

Same here... Four taps off the furnace total. 3 go to the rear vents and 1 to the bathroom and bedroom and now our unit has balanced flow.

I found some of my ducting collapsed. Use a mirror and flashlight to make sure it is open and clear. I think too much insulation was packed around the ducting. I used some 1.5" flat aluminum stock from Home Depot to prop the ducting open.

Our bedroom ducts are farthest from the furnace and heat flow is minimal. When the fiver was relatively new I had a tech tell me - just put one of the sink covers over an intermediate duct openin. That sure improved the bedroom heat flow. Replace that floor vent with one that has closing louvres for the same result.

Same with ours, the bedroom is the fartherest from the blower so it gets less air.

I'm not a fan of restricting air flow but it works. Too much restriction might cause the furnace to overheat or short cycle from limit switches. If you don't mind a little work, you might add another duct from the furnace to the bedroom. Most of the furnaces I've seen had at least two unused ports for adding ducts. The hard part would be routing the new duct under the floor but sometimes you can get lucky. I have too much heat in my bedroom and will be adding a short duct into the living area to help balance the airflow. It will have to be adjustable because it will be very short and could work too well.

I had the same problem so I removed the flexible ducts and replaced them with solid ducts and added dampers to the runs.

We have too much heat in the bath and bedroom of our 5er as the furnace is right behind the steps going into the bedroom/bath area. I was instructed by the factory that adjustable floor vents could be used with no trouble to the furnace. We have the bath and bedroom just slightly cracked and are trying to force more heat to the rear. Good Luck and Happy Camping.

A properly balanced HVAC system would have a flow control valve on every leg of the system. An air flow meter would be used on every leg and the flow control valves adjusted to equalize the flow on every leg. RV manufacturers don't have the time or inclination to do proper HVAC balancing.

As Dandy Dan stated you can do your own balancing by installing adjustable vents at every outlet.
