We have a 2009 Roo that we bought last February. How can we tell if we have the "new" bunk seals? Would someone post a picture of their new seals?

those that were built late in the season should have the newer seal/hinge system. i believe the changes came mid-'09 models.

i would go look at a 2010 Roo/Shamrock and compare.

you could also contact Forest River.

Can someone tell me if the pre-2009 seals are no good or these just that much better?

We've had only a very, very minor leak on our '07 ROO - more like seepage - on the front bunk when driving in a downpour. Believe it's only happened once. Has the older style seals. But.....our DFs with the Shamrock have had and continue to have a major water issue. Theirs is an '07 also. Talked to them tonight and they're on the brink of going to the darkside. Say it isn't so. FR has sent them a new front bunkend door and the seals, but they're so discouraged that they haven't gone to the work to change it over.

helloooooo,
the old set up has just a piece of trim around the outside of the door leaving a gap between the door and trailer. the new one has an actual seal as part of the trim, no gap.
