I used to work in a building where the janitors were called "sanitation engineers." Go figure.

Some people called me an over-the-road truck driver, but I preferred the title of commodities relocation engineer.

When I was in the Nam, the sanitation engineer was in charge of lighting up the previous days waste. Everyone there remembers the smell of diesel oil and waste in the morning.

Mt brother, who's a mechanical engineer at a large petroleum refinery - once had the title "Maintenance Engineer". I told him that made him sound like he was the janitor....LOL!!
