The Bricklin and DeLorean is on the list? Those aren't nearly as ugly as the AMC Pacer and most of the K-Cars Chrysler made.
And ya' just can't beat the style and looks af a nicely painted Gremlin!!

I'm thinking that the author of that "list" musta just thrown 50 darts at a giant board full of car photos to arrive at his choices.
Yeah, a few are really "ugly", but there are many more that are just "ho hum" looking, and there are even a few that, IMHO, are good looking cars.

More rants of an over-sophisticated fool.
At least HE seems to think he is sophisticated.
He certainly is NOT an arbiter of what is good looking or cool.
Just my opinion, of course, which may or may not have any connection with reality.
Which reminds me, the El Camino and Ranchero were not car/pickup hybrids, they were station wagons with the roof cut off!

I agree!
Who would put a Ferrari Enzo on that list? or the Prowler. Well I guess 46 out of 52 are dead on

Perhaps if he saw a really ugly car, his standards would be different?

I would hatte to see his list of 50 Most Beautiful Cars. The guy has little taste or automotive passion. Sure, some of his picks were pretty bad, but some exude automotive charm and style. I would have added the early 70's Camaros: nowhere the style of the originals, tacky looks, horrid construction - but the later few models did get somewhat better. But how can you make a lost of ugly cars and omit the Ford Flex? Awkward angles and proportions, blah styling, side and rear dents that look like a body panel fell off or something, excessly large turning radius, takes up the road space of a minivan or large SUV but the interior space of a small wagon, barely acceptable fuel mileage, uninspiring performance, and just plain butt-ugly. He picks on the Caddy SUV, but ignores the Ford Excursion that looks so top-heavy and awkward compared to the Suburban - like it was sitting on a too-small chassis, and is just as ostentatious as the Escalade. How about the original Saabs that come over here? Hmmm, I think the theory of the darts was pretty accurate.
