Looks like GM sold the most trucks, even though most people say they won't buy from them because they took government money.

Holly cow, what is going on with the Tundra? Sales have fallen like a meteorite. Can a flex-o-matic frame and/or a bend-o-matic tailgate be responsible for the fall? Quickly heading south to be with the Titans?

Sure looks like the Tundra beat both the GMC Sierra and Dodge in 1/2 ton sales, it would be nice to see the numbers broke down properly. Numbers are down for most every business in the entire country, and that sucks, but why do so many on this forum want to see a great truck fail???
Toyota replaced the tailgate 2 years ago, I know, I received a new, upgraded one (no charge).
Have you ever driven behind your unloaded F450 (or most other trucks) on an expansion joint highway?
Gimme a break, stop believing everything you read on the internet.

You missed the real point of the story, IMO..all manufacturers are down huge percentages since last year....

Year to date sales:
Tundra-64,136
GMC Sierra-91,327
Ram-155,467
What sales are Tundra's beating?
Don't get your shorts in a bind, talk about sensitive. Considering I own two late model Toyotas doubt I am bashing them. Just curious what is the cause for the collapse of Tundra sales. Of course I have driven my mighty F-450 over expansion joints, why do you ask? Probably feels the same as driving over a Tundra's tailgate
Sorry that was mean.
Here is an interesting video on the trucks:

Well, I look at it this way...
Tundra-64,136
1/2 ton = 64,136
GMC Sierra-91,327
1/2 ton = ? 30,442.33 ? a third?
3/4 ton = ? 30,442.33 ? a third?
one ton = ? 30,442.33 ? a third?
Ram-155,467
1/2 ton = ? 51,822.33 ? a third?
3/4 ton = ? 51,822.33 ? a third?
one ton = ? 51,822.33 ? a third?
Are those the numbers? Who knows, likely not, but apples to apples, it looks like Toyota's 1/2 ton holds it's own. If Yota had a 3/4 and one ton, would their sales look better? Would they pick up some of those 3/4 and 1 ton sales? Again, who knows and we likely never will. The economy sucks and Toyota's HD version was put on hold over a year ago.

Sales is sales. If you only bring one gun to a gun fight, that is what you have to fight with. Maybe Toyotas mistake.

Fine, then add in Toyota's other truck, the Tacoma.
Takes their number to 158,830 for the year. Right back in the running with Dodge, and well above GMC.
Go ahead and add in the other's light trucks...I don't know what Dakota's number looks like and does GMC even make something small anymore?
