Kind of brings out the true meaning of Christmas doesn't it.

We quit years ago. Don't even put up a tree anymore. Much more peaceful.

Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

Sorry - Grinch here. I have relatives who have made Christmas the "Season of Ridiculous Excess and Expectations" and knowing it's around the corner makes me cringe.....

Geeze, Halloween wasn't even over before some of the Christmas stuff was out. Used to be they waited until the Friday after Thanksgiving. Now we're supposed to spend ourselves out of a recession.

Retailers are really scrambling because they know they are going to get a real hit in their profit column. They are trying to survive in this economy.

I can not wait to see the ads for after Xmas sales!!!

Tell the kids that Xmas was postponed for two weeks and shop the after Xmas sales for your bargain items.
