Womps has a good point, we have all sat at some of these large intersections and waited and waited for light to change.
It appears WH can interprate these computer codes to say whatever is convenient to them.

I believe I read somewhere that in order for the brake apply code to be stored in the computer, the coach has to be moving.

Given the traffic in southern CA, you could be sitting on the freeway, barely moving and have that code stored, slowly moving for 2 minutes with foot on brake. Yep, people are riding the brakes. lol

I have a suspicion that the OFFICIAL Brake Recall will never happen, and that Workhorse will be bankrupt soon....just have that feeling.

These chassis aren't exactly flying off the shelves right now with all the brake failure reports and Workhorse denying fault for 7 years.
That would be bad news for some of the wh amb on the other site. No more wh paying for them to drive around the country and bsing unsuspecting customers. Maybe the gravy train is over for them but them going belly up wouldnt surprise me. Another way to screw its cust.

Bomre340, this is very valuable information, and hopefully you have opened the door for other Workhorse owners that have been unduely charged with not knowing how to drive.

They won't want to get involved until it is crystal clear what Workhorse is going to do or not going to do.

I agree, and with a class action lawsuit, when the lawyers are paid there may not be much left for us.

Hey Topflite. WH just sent me 4 new calipers to put on my coach. Hope it gets me by untill the new ones are available.

Can you expand on this? It's my understanding that Workhorse will only send out the (same) Bosch calipers to a certified Workhorse Service center for installation, and not directly sent to the actual chassis owner.

I have stayed in touch with my WH rep. as to what is going on with the brake issues and I am a certified truck mechanic with my own custom shop. I guess they think I am capable of putting on my own calipers plus it saves them the labor.

Hopefully, it takes care of your problem. Now for the rest of the WH owners.
