In 2007 we spent two months at Sun Vista RV resort in Yuma. It was great. We paid $525 a month for two months. We checked yesterday and they want $840 a month for two months. quite a jump in two seasons. Seems quick a jump in this economy. any suggestions of other great parks to stay at in Yuma.
Thank you in advance

Been looking at rv resorts in different areas of Arizona because we are heading out around the middle of next month. We were last in Az for the winter 2 years ago and it seems a lot of places have increased prices. Not so much the daily rate but the month to 6 month deals have increased significantly.
We are going to do more boondocking and look to negotiate a "last minute" deal face to face if we find a spot where we would like to park it for a month or two.

Look at the small towns ajoining Yuma - you can find some pretty good monthly rates at their RV parks.

Go out to the foothills, and on the south side of I 8, around the 16MM, there is a large residential area where the owners have private RV sites for rent. You will have to be there and ride through the development, there are quite a few of them and last year there were a lot of empty sites. Lots of people want to stay in parks with recreation stuff. We liked the peace and quiet of the residential area.
