Tires carry weight based on how much air they have in them. Having extra pressure doen't help anything. I generally run 80-85 in the front and 95-100 in the rear. That's still over what I'd run with Es by a lot in the rear.

I run with psi of front 60, rear 50 when empty and front 80, rear 100 with the camper on. Axle weights are front 4,500, rear 3,100 when empty and front 4,780, rear 6,700 with the camper on.

Brian  I question the value of the tire pressures posted, if they are not the same tire you have. If the PSI is just for general info, it is OK. If it is to be used to help you determine what you should use, I suggest you not use. You may have issues, if you do not use the PSI stated by the manufacture of your tires and tire size. Simply to say "19.5" is not enough information.

I should have mentioned the tires are Goodyear G-622 RSD 225/70r 19.5 load range F. The Goodyear website isn't very clear about inflation pressure, rather is suggests you run them at max PSI cold, which is 95 PSI for either single or dual. The folks that built my hauler bed said most of his customers run them at 65-80 to smooth out the ride. With the camper loaded and 90 psi the ride is still pretty harsh when i leave the blacktop and that's what i'm hoping to improve. Feel like i'm beating the snot out of the camper.
I've also heard the running to low will make them blow out, not a desirable condition.
I think i'll drop them to 80 and see how it rides and if there is an improvement. Truck just turned 10k miles.

We have been operating at 85 psi front and 105 psi rear for many miles with a SRW rig. The tires are showing little wear after 60,000 miles or so, our GVW is a little under 14,000 lbs. We also notice that the tires require warming up to begin to feel comfortable.

You know, maybe I'll give lowering the pressure a shot too - I know based on loads mine don't need to be full pressure, but the wear has been so even so far I hate to start wearing the edges fast or anything.

My rear end weighs about 12,000, and I have 4 19.5's back there, giving me a max tire limit of close to 18,000......so I am sure I can drop it quite a bit - maybe even to the "min" reccommended for my XDS2's. I'll have to try to dig up what Michellin suggests for the min on this model.....
