I have a 2007 Carson Rebel Toy Hauler and it is towed behind a 2002 Tacoma. All the lights work on it except for the brake lights. Turn signals and the brake lights on the truck work just not on the trailer. Has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?

Your tacoma has converter to combine the brake and turn signals into combined circuits for the trailer. Usually they are mounted in the rear bumper. First step to diagnose would be to test the brake wire going into the converter, and see if it is getting 12v when brakes are applied.
If yes, converter is probably. Most likely, it is not getting anything, which will require some old fashion connection troubleshooting to see where the connection is broken. If the brake and turn signal wires into the converter are connected to the truck's taillights with slice connectors, that splice connector is most likely the problem.

if they did work,and quit?? check the ground ,most light problems that apear over night come back to a ground.

my titan has a fuse just for all trailer lights ie, seprate fuse for trailer brakes and left turn and right turn etc. check them first.. good luck

I had this problem with my Raptor, and it was actually an issue with my truck. There may be a separate towing brake light fuse and it will blow before the main brake light fuse. Check to see if you have power to your plug and if not, check your owners manual on your truck to see if you have another set of fuses just for towing. I had a 25A one blown for some reason. My RV service shop gave me that heads up and I very much appreciated it. Good luck.
