All of you folks who own coaches with slides, especially quad slides. When underway would you rather have slides or no slides...or does it not make any difference? Also, what are your reasons?

Our coach has three slides, things were thought out so that everything can be utilized with the slide in or out. So its is not a issue.

Single living room slide here. When underway...no difference...when stopped for a LONG time ( and not a overnight quickie snooze) it goes out.

4 slides here. no problem at all when we are underway. If we stop for the night at Wally's or Flying-J, we may discretely put 1 bedroom slide out but only if we're parked so it is not easy to see that slide.

Ours is a double slide and the only thing you cant get to while the bedroom slide is in, is the lower dresser drawers. Other then that you can access everything else in the coach with the slides in or out.

Same goes for the outside storage compartments. With the slides out we can still access all the compartments with ease.

Triple slide, no problems when underway, can get to everything except contents of mirrored buffet which is behind the big living room slide. We put out the bedroom slide at wally world as end of bed is under the hanging closet.

Have seen some units where u have to go through the bathroom to get to the bedroom when all slides are closed. We have a nice hallway down the middle and getting to the bathroom is no problem.

4 slides and luv it...when we picked out our rig one of the criteria was to be able to use it while underway -- easy access to bedroom, bath, all kitchen appliances. This was so if we needed to stop during a long drive to rest, eat, etc. we could do so without opening any of the slides.
