They can't even predict tomorrow's weather. 5 days away is a bit of a stretch.

Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

Not expected to get even close to N.O.. Local guy's expect a turn east and go over Florida. Now a tropical depression expected to strengthen somewhat when it gets back to open water.

I believe it will be a rain maker because the Gulf below N.O. was down to 72 deg. F a few days ago and we have now had our second cool front come through since then.

Well, I owe you a big apology You see, I managed to rearrange our upcoming plans for a visit to Florida to include the shuttle launch on the 16th and wouldn't you know the result would be a HURRICANE in NOVEMBER

Sorry!!!

Heard today that fuel and oil storage is at capacity. Storage tank rental cost is climbing because there is no more place for storage.

Makes since that gas is going up when they have to reduce refining because they have no place to put refined products. Either there is a shortage or glut of gas. Another excuse for the speculators to drive prices up. Oil down nearly $2.00 today.
