It is Saturday morning and we are heading out on at least a four month trip. On our way to Texas and then to Arizona for December, January & February. We are very excited but a little fearful. Sure do hope that the house sells while we are away.

Good luck with the house and drive safe. We are heading out to Az in about a month. Will be in Quartzsite for the big rv show by Jan 15th.
Have fun!

Good luck and good fortune. Enjoy your adventure and if your home does sell let's hope it sells for more than you thought!

Good Luck on your trip. We will leave as usual Feb.1, 2010 for 1 month in Brownsville Texas, then over to Florida , back to Haliburton, Ontario. Go every year with the 1997 Winnebago Vectra, Diesel Pusher. Great way to travel. I pull a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo diesel. One thing we do is stop at Walmart in the USA and top up the Virgin cell phone. works great in the states, original cost of phone was about 10 dollars, plus air card, Toshiba lap top with me, for wireless, where available. Again best wishes.

Have a great time. We are heading out in March for Washington State. Probably the I 10 route due to time of year. Never drove the Calif. coast road and looking forward to seeing new territory.

You will be hooked now....Leaving the freezing cold weather for nice warm sunny weather is a real experience. Good luck on selling the house. If it is priced right for the area and the condition of the house and the market conditions ... it will sell.

Great travels to all of you! We're jealous! We have about 3 years to retirement when we will be able to do the same. We live in Tucson (have for the last 40+ years) so get to enjoy the mild winters every year (yet we also have to endure the brutal summers!). Have fun in the Grand Canyon state!

This is exactly the mindset we took when selling ours. Figuring we'd rather take a loss than sit on the house for an extended period. Some homes in our neighborhood were on the market for two years. The lower price worked. Within a few weeks we had a contract and it closed.
