I have an opportunity to purchase a Trail Eze II wind deflector for only $150. These things sell for over $500. I don't expect to get much better mpg's with it and I only tow about 2000 miles per year, so I'm wondering if the towing characteristics will improve enough to warrant spend 150 bucks.

Would like to here from people who have actually used these things.

Thanks

That might be worth it alone, less washing.

I always wondered what effect the increased down force on the TV has on the tires.

For 2000 miles a year it'll be a waste of money (my opinion). Good luck / Skip

If you can sell it quick for $400 then it is worth $150.

I am not familiar with the Trail Eze II; but, this is my experience with a deflector I made and mounted on a headache rack at the front of the truck bed. The deflector itself measures 2ft x 5 ft. On a short bed truck pulling a TT that had an almost vertical and tall front I gained 1+ MPG. When I traded to a TT that has am more sloped and not as tall front the gain was was only about 1/2 MPG. With a long bed I would expect any gain to be less due to the distance between the deflector and the TT.
