Bit the bullet and installed some outside speakers on our Jayco Featherlight 19H. So far not too difficult.
Talked with Jayco to make sure the locations I had chosen for the speaker location would not be a problem. Found areas with no wires or structural support. Bought some 7" boating speakers.
Cut the holes with a RotoZip and circle jig. This tool is perfect for the task.

Placed the speakers behind the stereo location and one above the couch. Wanted to spread them apart as much as possible, but keep them under the awning.

The speakers mounting depth are only 2.5" so they don't to far into the cabinet space.

Used a fair amount of chalking to seal it up.

Ended up looking pretty clean.

Fished the speaker wires for the speaker over the couch through the bottom of the cabinet. This is where the light above the couch is wired, so you can use those wires to fish it through and back.
Adding an Alpine stereo with Ipod adapter and Sirius radio.

We don't camp in improved campgrounds, nor near others. Being in UT gives us the ability to camp and get away from the crowds. There's enough room between UT, WY, MT, ID and CO that we are hardly near other people and if so, they are usually part of our group.
And we have enough respect for others not to blast them out. A little music while sipping my wine and grilling up a steak is hard to beat.
Have a nice day!

Wow, looks very professional. Been thinking about doing this, but just don't have the heart to put those holes in my trailer....yet.
