I recently purchased a new to me trailer with 16"E range missions. I know mission has a bad reputation. Are there more problems with 15"s then 16"s ?? Going keep these tires till at least spring and wondering if my size is a problem size??

No it's the tires not the size. I have one bad one already on my Cruiser. Mission sent me a new one but it was made 2 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think so. Before my next big trip I'm going with some Maxxis.

ALL MISSION tires are garbage. Get rid of them asap. I put BFG Commercial T/As on my fiver. If you leave them on, when they blow out it could do significant damage to your trailer.

Couldn't agree more, get new tires now! We had Mission tires on our new 5'r from our "upscale" manufacturer. They lasted one year, had a blowout. Luckily, it went in and wrapped around the axle instead of blowing out the fiberglass. The next morning we replaced all 4. They are junk.

WRONG!

To date, I have 27000+ miles on my original Mission tires:
ST 205/75R/15/C.
Wear is normal with no signs of bubbles or tread separation. They were manufactured in November of '06.

I love how you never hear about the tires like above with 27000+ miles. I know there are more people with good experiences.

Breaks out the popcorn, I'm a spectator in this one considering my last couple postings have been deleted on other "hot" threads

We did about 10K on our OEM Mission Tires. We had no problems and they were wearing normally...However.. I have little confidence in most any OEM tire and we changed them out in favor of a higher quality LT tire. Nearly all our travel is at 62/65MPH on interstates. We do have the TPMS.

Problem is that you never know when the Mission tires are going to give out! Mine ran fine for over 12000 miles. I read all the horror stories on here and thought mine were fine. While traveling thru Klamath Falls, Oregon, heard what sounded like a shotgun going off in the cab, almost instant smoke when i looked in the mirror. Thred seperation on the Mission tire, replaced with new tire. I checked the others tires after arriving home and another had huge bulge in thred and was also ready to go. I am not saying this strickly is a Mission tire problem, but seems you hear more about them having the same failure than the other brands, at least the importer Tireco does stand behind them.
