We have a 09 Montana 3400RL with Mor-ryde suspension and pin box. Great design and seems to do the job it was designed for. I did some research and was advised by others that it was not wise to add shocks to a suspension that already has the Mor-Ryde system. What I found was that the trailer would bounce excessively over rough roads and especially over railway crossings. When looking at high end 5th wheels I noticed that they will have both a mor-Ryde suspension and also have shocks factory installed. To make a long story short I installed shocks about a month ago and this has made a world of difference on restriction of bounce and over all stability of the 5th wheel. We installed the Dexter shock kit; not an easy job but well worth the money and time. What a Difference!!!

hmmm - interesting. A bit of a contradiction to what Mor-Ryde says is the reason they don't use shocks on the LRE system - but glad it corrected your bounce.
I've actually talked to Mor-Ryde engineering about why I don't even have the shock towers on mine, yet the web page shows shocks. I think I got a lot of sideways talk as the answer so they didn't discredit the system as Montana installed it.

First
, two different types of suspension, and yes you have to listen what Morryde is sayingor not saying. I also have a Montana 3000RK and put shocks on two years ago. A world of difference. I see that you can now buy a shock pkg and has a price,on the Dexter site which was not available then. I do not think Dexter would now list this if there was not a demand, and when I got mine I had to buy the parts from both Dexter and Morryde
