My 5ver water pump is not pumping much water out of the bathroom sink and makes a lot of noise when running. What is a good replacement?

How much money do you want to spend?

If I needed to replace my pump I would stronly consider the SMART SENSORâ„¢ 5.7 WATER PUMP

Try this first:

Unscrew the strainer fitting and remove the water restrictor from the faucet head.

Worked for me...

In any event, add an accumulator to the system. It'll keep the pump from cycling on and off so often, so the pump and your nerves should last longer.

Have had a Flow Jet VSD and it works great! Its variable speed with the demand and you hardly hear it running. I also believe Sure Flow has one now that is similar. Both good choices if you don't want to wake the Wife in the middle of the night.

If it is pumping ok, and only problem is that one location, you probably should check that water line for restrictions.

Some pumps have a small filter on them. Make sure that it is clean. Simple hydrolics will cause a lose of water pressuer and flow the further you get from the pump.
