I noticed a couple of websites that list the new 2004 Toyota Tundra Double Cab, however, I've been unable yet to find much about its towing capability.

Does anyone know what the max. towing capacity (when properly equipped) for the new Double Cab it?

Also, what engine options are going to be available? Thanks.

I believe the truck will have the same 4.7 i-force engine that is in the current tundra. The truck is supposed to be about 6 inches longer than the current truck but I'm unsure of the GVWR. I would guess that it's going to pull less than the current truck since it will weigh more with the same engine. Just a guess, though.

Toyota doesn't provide much info in their website other than it's the V-8 i-Force engine (240hp). As far as the towing parshal is most likely correct with the weight being more than the current Tundra. Try going into tundrasolutions.com and ask/search for the info.
