Ford Motor Co. recently unveiled the new 2009 E-Series at the National Truck Equipment Association Show in Atlanta, in late February.
Updates include a new instrument panel and console, door panels with more storage, more-comfortable seats, a factory-installed navigation system and the optional Ford Work Solutions, an in-dash computer with Internet access, a diagnostic system and more. The new E-Series also has an available reverse-camera system, activated when the transmission is shifted in reverse. The video image is displayed on the navigation screen on vans equipped with the option, or in the rearview mirror on models without navigation.
The E-Series vans equipped with 4.6L or 5.4L V-8 engines are capable of running on E85, and trucks will be at dealers in August 2008.
