Lees-ure Lite's Tiny Tent TrailerThe founders and current owners of Lees-ure Lite tent trailers started the company in 1972 as cyclist enthusiasts wanting a practical trailer to tow behind their bikes. This Original Cycle model is still available today; however, the company has added some width to the original design creating the Excel, a more versatile unit that holds a double bed. Built on a steel frame with a carpeted fiberglass tub, the Excel is sturdy, yet light enough to be towed by virtually any vehicle at the small price tag of $4,795. The tent is available in five color choices and is 100 percent polyester, so it won’t shrink or rot, according to the company. The owners still work in the Lees-ure Lite factory everyday sewing the fabric and cutting the steel required for the frame.

I’ve been trying to find a video or youtube demonstration on the ‘original cycle (OC)’ Lees-ure Lite trailer…still looking. Able to locate for ‘Excel’ model, so must assume they are identical in set-up/down. Not interested in the Excel due to extra weight in comparison to the OC model, as I do not have a motorcycle relative to a Mack Truck size and weight for towing ability. So, that also may be the next thing I need to research, is the smallest size bike that can comfortably tow the OC model without killing the motorbike. I ride a Moto Guzzi 750 Nevada Classic.

Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated, as I am interested in purchasing a camper trailer for my bike. I am only 54kg in weight myself, so there would only be some luggage weight to add in all calculations. No need to worry about pillion weight either, he can ride his own bike.
