Part Euro-style, part nostalgia and packed with ample space for a small family, the
Starcraft Star Stream 24QB features a gleaming EuraVehicle-Metallics painted aluminum
exterior and trick automotive-styled LED lights for a “looks-sharp” first impression. And
if you’re looking to get some attention from fellow campers, the Star Stream is for you.
One of the nicer touches found in the interior of the Star Stream is the use of recessed
rope lights just below the ceiling in the overhead cabinets. Stepping through the doorway,
the interior of the trailer was basked in a warm glow that invited us inside without the
usual glare associated with typical overhead lights. After-dinner chores were easy thanks
not only to the double sink in the galley, but also the brushed-nickel gooseneck faucet
that provided easy access when scrubbing down the dirty dishes. Heading to the back of the
trailer, you’ll find a roomy bathroom that puts those found in many a Class A diesel-pusher
to shame. The bath/shower provided ample headroom for my 6-foot 3-inch frame to stand tall
while getting wet, and the china commode resides in the corner at a diagonal, affording
plenty of legroom. The trailer features an RV queen bed situated lengthwise in the front of
the trailer with ample maneuvering room alongside the bed so you don’t have to crawl over
your partner during the night. Overhead reading lamps keep bedside surface-top clutter to a
minimum. Once you get to your campsite, the optional 15-inch flat-screen TV is conveniently
mounted on a pivoting bracket that allows for easy viewing in either the main living area
from the jackknife couch or the dinette. The Star Stream proved to be a trailer that
incorporates welcome technological improvements, and one that offers plenty of interior
space for a family to grow while experiencing the joys of RVing. And that trick silver
exterior is easy on the eyes, too. Pick up the October 2007 issue of Trailer Life magazine
