(1) Drain the freshwater tank using the petcock or other type of valve. Many trailers will have one like this. Higher-end trailers and fifth-wheels may have one in the utility compartment. Check your RV owner’s manual.
(6) If your RV is equipped with a clothes washer, be sure to winterize it properly. Antifreeze must be run through the machine, the hot and cold connections and the drain pump.
