Rodents in Your RV 02/16/2009
Many RVers have problems with rodents in their coaches during storage. Here is an environmentally friendly and pet-safe way to keep them at bay. Mix egg white with cayenne pepper powder and paint the mixture on wiring or other objects to eliminate rodents chewing on these items. According to those who use it, the mix dries with no odor and will work for at least an entire season.
 
Level Towing 02/02/2009
Trailers should be towed as close to level as practical. If the hitch is too high or too low, the trailer axles may be unevenly loaded. This can result in overloading and premature tire or axle failure, even if the actual weight is within manufacturer's ratings.
