The Torklift truck camper tie-down system is a big step up from cross members and the back bumper,  but installation takes some work.

Once the Fastgun turnbuckles are set, a marker is used to identify positioning for future use.

etaining pins are used to prevent the lever from opening. Optional keyed-alike locks can be used instead of the pins.

Fastgun turnbuckle is locked into place using convenient levers.

Rubber O-ring is used to make final adjustments. When the lever is locked the space between the O-ring and the turnbuckle body should be 1/4-inch.

Fastgun turnbuckle end slips into the provided hole in the tie-down insert before adjusting tension.

Fastgun turnbuckles must be assembled before positioning.

Insert slides into rear backet and is pinned in place.

Rear brackets are bolted to hitch receiver side plates. Washers can be used if there’s an interference problem with the exhaust tailpipe.

Four holes are drilled into the hitch receiver side plates.

Tubing prevents the emergency brake line from rubbing against the bracket.

A piece of 3/8-inch tubing is wrapped around emergency brake line using a cable tie.

ainter’s tape is used to prevent bolt from slipping out of hole while second bolt is fished through frame.

Fish wire is used to thread bolt through frame with restricted access.

Tie-down inserts are slid into frame brackets and held in place with pins.
