I am so glad that I travel with my propane OFF. Last summer I had a tire blow-out on my Dutchmen Grand Junction fifth wheel. The flailing tire cord destroyed the copper gas line going to the water heater. Had the gas been on I likely would have lost the entire trailer and maybe even my truck! The RV refrigerators are excellent coolers. I turn the gas on for the refrigerator when I take a break at a rest stop or restaurant, then turn everything off before I get back on the road.
