Chicago Auto Show Action

Several U.S. vehicle manufacturers showed off their latest concept and production-ready
future models at the Chicago Auto Show, including some of interest to RVers. Chevy
displayed the Traverse, which is a crossover between a sedan and a sport-utility vehicle.
It’s powered by a 255-hp V-6 of 4.5 liters, and has a 5,600-pound towing capacity. Expect
it in the next year or so. GM also showed its Chevy S-10/GMC Sonoma crew cab. Look for it
in late 2000 as a 2001 model, in 4×4 versions only.
