Fuel Prices Down

The AAA reported in mid-November that gasoline prices were down 1.1 cents in the last
month, the first decline after four months of price hikes. The monthly report shows that
nationwide in October, self-serve regular gas was at its highest point of the year, $1.293
per gallon. Self-serve regular is highest in the West at $1.398 per gallon and least
expensive in the Southeast at $1.196. New England is $1.334 per gallon, Mid-Atlantic
$1.273, Great Lakes $1.248, Midwest $1.213 and Southwest $1.234.
