Camping World Acquires Camper’s Choice
Camping World recently acquired the assets of Camper’s Choice, a mail-order business and an Internet site that provided accessories and supplies to RV enthusiasts. Camping World will integrate Camper’s Choice into its catalog and Internet business, which today services more than 300,000 mail-order and online customers. Camping World, the world’s largest RV accessory and supply company, provides three easy ways for Camper’s Choice customers to shop: online at CampingWorld.com, by calling 1-800-626-5944 or by visiting any one of their 41 retail SuperCenters nationwide.
NHTSA Investigates GM Trucks
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is reportedly investigating a possible brake defect which could result in a safety recall of 1.3 million full-size GM light trucks and SUVs. The models include Silverado/Sierra pickups and all GM full-size SUVs from the 1999-2002 model years. In states that use road salt, rust can develop under the ABS sensors, which can interfere with braking. NHTSA reports 120 complaints, including 22 accidents and four injuries.
