Outdoor Adventure Box
A high-flow intake tube leads to a custom intake box and Dryflow filter in this 2011 to 2012 Ram 6.7-liter Cummins cold-air intake system from AEM. A polypropylene material with a high-heat rating keeps the turbo’s extreme temperature out of the incoming air charge. AEM’s testing showed an increase of 19 lb-ft of torque and 8.5 horsepower at 2,100 rpm.
Swapping out the factory pressure-bent exhaust for a bigger, mandrel-bent system has long been a favorite way to pick up an easy 5 percent increase in power. When choosing an aftermarket system, such as this Banks Monster exhaust, you can often make changes to the stock exhaust in regard to single pipes, dual pipes, dual tips and more.
