2011 Nissan Titan

The 2011 Nissan Titan is a full-size pickup truck available in King Cabs and crew cabs. The King Cab offers a 6-foot-6-inch cargo bed, while the crew cab features either a 5-foot, 7-inch or 7-foot, 3-inch bed. For 2011, the Titan received a number of new option changes.

Both King Cab and Crew Cab Titans have spacious, functional interiors, easy-to-use controls and plenty of storage. Rear seats fold up to provide a large load floor inside the cab, and the rear doors on King Cabs open wide. Standard and optional features include a spray-on bedliner, movable tie-downs, tailgate illumination and a driver-side lockbox.

Titan’s available with two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, with one drivetrain combination: a 5.6-liter V8 rated 317 horsepower and 385 pound-feet of torque, coupled to a five-speed automatic transmission with a tow-haul mode. Properly equipped, Titan King Cabs are rated to tow up to 9,500 pounds; the crew cab is rated 100 pounds less. EPA fuel economy for the Titan 4X4 is 12 mpg city/17 mpg highway and 14 mpg combined, while the two-wheel-drive Titan rates 1 mpg better in both averages. Standard on all Titans are ABS disc brakes, stability control, front-seat side airbags and full-length side curtain airbags.

Titans are available in four trim levels: S, SV, Pro-4X and SL. Choosing the Popular Equipment package adds 18-inch alloy wheels, sliding rear window, keyless entry (crew cab), a receiver hitch and a seven-pin wiring harness connector. The Pro-4X four-wheel drive comes with Rancho shocks, skid plates, a shorter final-drive ratio, all-terrain tires and a push-button rear locking differential.

  1. I would like an article on the titan towing a medium size trailer.
recently or in near future. Ihave an 08 that i am going to tow a 19′
trail lite camper. about 2,700# empty. I just bought the titan with
factory tow pactage. Is it enough I have sway control on my hitch
but no lift bars. The 02 trooper did just fine without them. but my
worry is the distance between rear axle an the ball has increased,
has the added weight of the motor v8 vers. trooper v6 evened up
thing. Idon’t want the front bounceing up and down. the trooper did not.

  2. my guess here is that you think your paying to much. Well do some real rescraeh and ask differnet companies the price based on what you drive your driving record and stop the guessing.
